SMG is proud to announce that the NCAA has granted Division I Tournament games for 2011 and 2012 to six additional SMG-managed venues, including both Final Four rounds to be held at Reliant Park in Texas and the Louisiana Superdome, respectively. These, when added to the SMG-managed facilities already hosting Tournament games for 2010, brings the total of host facilities managed by SMG to 11. We’d like to offer our well-earned congratulations to those facilities and their staffs and thank them for all the hard work, which allowed such an honor.

“Being granted these tournament games is a great accomplishment for all of us at SMG,” said Wes Westley, President and CEO of SMG. “Our goal in every venue we manage has always been to bring in top-notch events, whether it’s concerts, conventions, or sporting events. These tournament games are a tribute not only to the venues and the people who run them, but also to the communities where they reside, and will provide a substantial economic boost and raise the national profile of each locale. We’re very proud.”
