SMG Canada and Legends Global Sales announces naming rights partnership for the Medicine Hat Regional Event Centre

Medicine Hat, AB (June 4, 2015) – SMG Canada, a global leader in venue management, and Legends Global Sales, industry leader in naming rights and sponsorship sales, are proud to announce they have come to terms with Canalta for the naming rights of the Medicine Hat Regional Event Centre. Effective immediately, the venue will be known as the Canalta Centre. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Canalta develops and operates hotels and restaurants throughout Western Canada. In addition to the naming   rights, Canalta will also be advertising and promoting their Boston Pizza, Hampton Inn and Home 2 Suites, by Hilton brands, which will all have locations in the Box Springs Business Park, near theCanalta Centre.
In addition to name recognition each and every time the venue is promoted, when events are announced and with hospitality offerings and name recognition on the venues’ website at www.canaltacentre.com. Boston Pizza will  also be the official and exclusive pizza sold out of the Canalta Centreconcession and foodservice areas.
