March Madness Reigns at SMG Facilities
West Conshohocken, PA (March 17, 2010) – The sounds of sneakers squeaking on the hardwood of the NCAA tournament will be heard throughout SMG-managed buildings this March. Seven SMG-managed arenas will be home to games in the 2010 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments. Continuing the company’s success in bringing the biggest sporting events in the country to its facilities, thousands of basketball fans will converge upon the SMG-managed Ford Center (Oklahoma City, OK), New Orleans Arena (New Orleans, LA), Dunkin Donuts Center (Providence, RI), and Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena (Jacksonville, FL) for Men’s first and second round games. As the tournament intensifies, the Men’s Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight games will be played at Reliant Arena (Houston, TX). For the Women’s basketball fans, the Petersen Events Center (Pittsburgh, PA) will host Women’s first and second round games.
