The SMG-managed INTRUST Bank Arena finished the third quarter of 2012 ranked 33rd in the United States and 67th in the world according to Pollstar's Top 200 Arena Venues. The rankings reflect tickets sold worldwide for shows played between 1/1/12 and 9/30/12.
“It's an honor to be ranked as a top arena not only in the United States, but in the world,” said General Manager AJ Boleski. “We have a strong lineup of upcoming events for the remainder of 2012 and look forward to continuing to bring world class entertainment to Wichita.”
Upcoming events include the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA preseason game (October 24), Carrie Underwood (October 27), Aerosmith (November 11), Batman Live (November 13-14), Trans-Siberian Orchestra (December 5), Eric Church (December 8) and a Wichita State men's basketball game (December 22).
